We invite applications for membership. Our subscription rates are as follows.

Individuals

Individual membership : 17 guineas (£17.85) p.a.
Family membership : 28 guineas (£29.40) p.a.
Student membership : 6 guineas (£6.30) p.a.
Individual life membership : 170 guineas (£178.50)
Family life membership : 280 guineas (£294.00)

Family memberships comprise two members at the same address.

We are happy to accept applications on behalf of other people as a gift.

Organizations

Corporate membership : 170 guineas (£178.50) p.a.
Affiliate membership for non-profit organizations : 33 guineas (£34.65) p.a.

Membership benefits

Individual memberships (including Family and Student memberships): one vote per person; one place per person at any event at a discounted price compared with non-members (on a first-come first-served basis); one copy of all newsletters; one copy of The Orchard per address.
Corporate membership: one point of contact with two named members and two votes; four places at any event at a discounted price compared with non-members (on a first-come first-served basis); one copy of all newsletters; four copies of The Orchard to one address; mention in the journal and on the web site.
Affiliate membership: one point of contact with two named members and two votes; two places at any event at a discounted price compared with non-members (on a first-come first-served basis); one copy of all newsletters; two copies of The Orchard to one address; mention in the journal.

How to apply for membership

Online applications

We prefer to receive online applications. To pursue this option, please go to the appropriate online application form below for your chosen membership category.

Postal applications

Please download the form below, complete both pages, and send it to our Membership Secretary at the postal address or the email address given on the form, noting the instructions on the form about payment. If you are purchasing membership for somebody else as a gift, complete the form with that person's details but please be sure to include your own name and contact details.

We also include a Gift Aid section on the form for UK taxpayers who wish to take advantage of it.
